Nûby has invested heavily into research and design of baby products since its inception in the 1970’s by parent company Luv n’ Care. Their philosophy is to make life as easy as possible for parents, through high quality products, safely manufactured and innovation inspired by nature. Their success is reflected in its distribution network reaching 155 countries and winning over 10 product awards in the last 5 years, including Gold in the Best Bottle Feeding category at the Mother and Baby Awards 2015.
Supply of the Nûby weaning and toddler feeding products is available from distributor Baby Brands Direct; offering retailers’ a choice of original designs and inventive features from ‘the fastest growing baby brand worldwide’. Products range from the Garden fresh steamer blender that makes smooth purees and chopped solid meals for toddlers, to the Natural Touch Bottle Warmer that features a hassle free one hand functionality. Serving new-borns to toddlers, Nûby say, “We strive towards making the lives of parents and children easy, simple and fun”.
Nûby has chosen to adopt the Deaf Children’s Literacy Project (DCLP) of the National Cued Speech Association (NCSA) as part of its social responsibility program. Close to the hearts of company president Edward Hakim and his wife Penny, who’s eldest son Abraham became deaf as an infant from bacterial meningitis, they found comfort and support from the organisation. NCSA champions effective communication, language development and literacy through the use of Cued Speech and launched the Deaf Children’s Literacy Project in 1997. Its logo now appears on most of Nuby’s baby products with a percentage of its sales going to the cause.
The Company is also actively raising awareness for Down Syndrome by sharing stories from families who have been touched by a child or adult with the Syndrome. It has also provided NUBY No-Spill cups to over 2,000 children with Down Syndrome and educated others about it with facts from www.ndss.org. The Company launched this program with the face of Lennon, a 2-year-old girl from Louisiana who now features on the Company’s marketing material and Facebook page in order to drive awareness and education.
The Nuby feeding brand has a heritage of over 50years in the innovative development of baby and toddler products with a keen focus on simplifying everyday tasks.
