The second half brings the launch of a heavyweight advertorial partnership with Prima Baby magazine and babyexpert.com.


Market Share Growth
With unrivalled brand awareness and heritage Fisher-Price has continued to make its mark on the nursery and newborn arena.
Additions such as the Precious Planet range have seen the company increase market share and dominate a number of categories including Baby Mobiles of which it holds a market share of 41%  and holds five of the top ten properties in this category (2009 Full Year £ Property Share Mobiles). 
Similarly Fisher-Price holds five of the top ten properties within the baby gym category and a market share of 26% (2009 Full Year £ Property Share Playnests and Gyms). Both categories also saw the company gain market share year 2008 versus 2009.
 

Corporate Success
The continuing strength of Mattel was recently demonstrated in their first quarter worldwide gross sales results showing the Fisher-Price brand up 11 percent versus the prior year.
In 2010, Mattel was named as one of FORTUNE Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" for the third year in a row and was ranked 29 within the "100 Best Corporate Citizens." Mattel is also recognized among the "World's Most Ethical Companies" and states ‘playing responsibly’ is the cornerstone for everything they do.
Most remarkably since 1978, the Mattel Children's Foundation has played together with thousands of charitable organizations and positively impacted millions of children. Over the years, the Foundation has funded new technologies, after-school activities, literacy projects, and programs to promote the health of children around the world. It’s supported 200 children’s hospitals and provided smiles on the faces of approximately 5million children in the wake of natural disasters.
