‘Inside Out’ is a computer animated, comedy adventure movie release by Disney in 2015 and produced in their Pixar Animation Studios. The film is an original story by Pete Docter conceived in 2011 with the creative idea of personifying the emotions we feel through characters housed in our brain; joy, anger, fear, disgust and sadness. Docter has commented that it has been his most challenging movie to date because the film had to tell what was happening to the characters and what was happening inside their mind simultaneously. The plot is based around an 11yr old girl named Riley, whose family move home to San Francisco where her Father has started a new job.
During its opening weekend the film grossed $90.4 million - the highest opening for an original title and has since grossed over $792 million worldwide; driving up huge demand in pre-school licenced toys.
