2026 marks 100 years of Winnie the Pooh and fans of the beloved, honey eating bear all over the globe are celebrating! 2026 marks 100 years since the 1926 publication of A.A. Milne’s original Winnie the Pooh book! This month, a great new event is opening in London for one weekend only! Winnie The Pooh: The Lost Balloon is a free immersive adventure inspired by the Hundred Acre Wood! The event takes place at Westfield White City and will be open to the public from Friday 10 April to Sunday 12 April 2026!
The experience invites young children and their families to join Pooh and friends to help Christopher Robin find his lost balloon. Guests will uncover entertaining surprises, lots of bouncing fun and wholesome moments to share with their mums, dads and siblings!
Other brands such as Primark, LEGO and Pandora have also been getting involved in the centenary, with releases of special Winnie the Pooh themed products. Disney have stated that they will be ‘launching a new global brand campaign inviting fans to revisit Pooh’s gentle wisdom and lighthearted worldview. The campaign brings audiences into the Hundred Acre Wood through new content, experiential events, creator-led storytelling, and reimagined “Pooh‑isms” — inspired by the gentle, reflective sayings and simple truths Pooh is known for — that spotlight Pooh’s timeless wisdom through a modern lens.‘
