Already present in the car seat market with multi-award-winning products, Diono are expanding into all areas of travel to offer parents solutions that are created for real life, engineered for safety and built to last.
On sale in more than 50 countries and reporting double digit growth for over 10 years, Diono is now investing significantly to enhance their NPD and commercial management. This 7-figure investment is headed by Global Product Director, Nigel Plested.
From April 2017, Nigel has joined Diono to lead a global team based across three continents, incorporating designers, new product developers and a category management team. Diono recognise the competiveness of today’s market and the global shift in innovation thresholds so have created this world class team made up of true experience, passion and ability to reflect the existing pedigree and enthusiasm found throughout the business. This worldwide team will shape new ideas to inspire safety and smiles across the globe.
Alongside the Seattle HQ in the US and offices in Shanghai, China and Tamworth, UK, two new global design studios will enhance and complement the existing structure. One specialising in textile design and fashion sat in the heart of Manchester’s former textile district as well as a global product design studio in the bustling and creatively vibrant East End of London – within striking distance of Shoreditch, the West End and the City.
The new Diono Product Commercialization Team brings over 200 years’ global, class leading knowledge and experience to the Diono Brand.
