Based on the fairy tale, ‘The Snow Queen’ by Hans Christian Andersen, the story is of a brave princess who sets off on an adventurous journey to find her sister whose magical powers have inadvertently trapped the kingdom in eternal winter. Along the way she meets an iceman accompanied by his loyal reindeer, and a naïve snowman that the sisters had made together as children. The modern tale celebrates the bond of sisterly love and selflessness over traditional Disney fairy tale romances between Princes and Princesses.
